1 Schedule Installs
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) will call you and schedule both a PUD Fiber Install and a LocalTel Install.
2 PUD Installs Fiber
PUD will install the CPE Fiber Box next to your power meter and complete any necessary fiber back splicing needed.
3 LocalTel Install
LocalTel will run a Cat 5 cable from the CPE Fiber Box mounted outside your residence, to a router (either yours or ours)inside. Then connect your computer, configure your router and computer, test the connection and verify that the internet is working as optimally as it should.
LocalTel Techs will explain how our internet works, show you how to use it, set up your LocalTel e-mail account if desired, explain how to trouble shoot and answer any of your questions.
